basically basic

Basics are vital to one's wardrobe. They are what you build the rest of your look around. The perfect blazer, pair of jeans, tee, tank, little black dress, and little black skirt are all extremely important pieces. While they are basic, one shouldn't settle on just any old blazer or any old tee. You need to find ones that fit perfectly on you and pieces that are good quality you can wear over and over again. After all, these are the items that go with everything and anything in your closet. Of course, there are trendy versions of all of these items (the sequin blazer, the pastel jean, the fringe tee, and so forth), but I'm talking the tried and true BASIC versions that won't go out of style.

  1. I totally agree. People fill their closets with so many non-classic things and then complain they have nothing to wear. If everyone followed this simple advice, they could triple their wardrobe instantly.
